Over four sessions on June 11, 13, 18 and 20 Jim Ike will cover the topics of how to get started, how to find your ancestors, how to find about their lives and how to record your family history for your own satisfaction or sharing with others.  These sessions will give you a running start along the path to your family history and an opportunity to start a fulfilling activity.  Register on the OGS website.

Anna & Kathy Honea will present "What Was It Like During the Civil War?". History of the period will be discussed.  Family life, customs, clothing foods and youth activities of the period will be included.  Hands on activities.  Computer time for genealogical research. This is a three part series of classes held 1:00pm-3:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday, June 18, 19 & 20, 2019.
